Bass player: H.J. Freaks

H.J. Freaks has posted a lot of videos to her youtube channel. She's a bass player (from Korea, apparently) -- and seems to have the music production skills that would make it possible to bring the Cover Gurlz into (virtual) reality.

I posted about technical needs on Gossip Gurl this past week.

H.J. Freaks isn't wearing much clothing in that video, but she wears a variety of outfits in her others, which show her playing bass solo:

The Treacles

The Treacles are a British band featuring guitarist Laura Handbag, drummer Sally Payne, vocalist Jenny Slater and bassist Chrissie (Christine Milner).

In this video, the band is playing "These Boots are Made for Walking" at Outskirts 10th anniversary party, Eden Bar, Birmingham, UK, June 7, 2009.

Bass player: Teresa Ann Weldon

Teresa Ann Weldon is a bass player sometimes known as "Bitchinmona." On her yahoo website, she includes pictures of herself playing bass -- fronting one of her bands -- on Halloween, 2003. The photo on the right is from that set.

Teresa Ann describes herself on her livejournal bio:

I'm a musician--I play bass and sing in my band, themiddlefork. I'm an artist (computer graphics, paint). I'm a writer (when the notion hits me). Oh, and I make one fine-ass chick.

On themiddlefork site, she wrote:

"My main goal in any artistic endeavor (say that 3 times fast!) is disturbing humor. I want to make someone laugh and shiver at the same time."
