This is from Tu Cara Me Suena. The performer Yenesi apparently performs as a drag artist, so that seems like an advantage in this format. 

I might blog some of Yenesi's other performances later. 

Francesco Divito as Antonella Ruggiero

This is from the Italian version of Your Face Sounds Familiar: Tali e Quali. Just last month! The singer is a soprano and does not use falsetto.

 

I suspect this video is the inspiration for the look. 

 

Cabaret night clip: Kyoko

This is a really short clip, but that's all Kyoko has posted online as far as I know. I've been aware of her beauty for many years, but did not know that she sings. According to her notes, this is a Japanese language version of "Vacation," by Connie Francis.

Her Flick account seems to be open to the public for viewing and she has a YouTube account. FWIW, she reports being a CD who does not take hormones.

The Your Face global TV series has been making it more difficult to find video footage of its stars. This is probably a copyright issue. Images are another story as one can find them with careful looking.

Are you familiar with BERTHA? It's a touring band out of Nashville that plays Grateful Dead covers. The group has a large amount of video on their Insta page and you can readily find their music on YouTube. The band's homepage has tour dates going months into the future. 

The founding members of the band are GGs, but rhythm guitarist and vocalist Mike Wheeler appears in drag -- along with the drummer and at least one other guitarist.
