Moulin Dudes

In Shreveport, a group of four gurlz is playing girl-group cover songs under the name Moulin Dudes.

Here's one of their videos. Turn it up a bit, the sound isn't great.



I'd like the gurlz more if they'd embrace their femme image a bit more -- shave or hide some of the hair, improve the makeup and hair, and maybe try some fashion heels.

Bass player: H.J. Freaks

H.J. Freaks has posted a lot of videos to her youtube channel. She's a bass player (from Korea, apparently) -- and seems to have the music production skills that would make it possible to bring the Cover Gurlz into (virtual) reality.

I posted about technical needs on Gossip Gurl this past week.

H.J. Freaks isn't wearing much clothing in that video, but she wears a variety of outfits in her others, which show her playing bass solo:

Keyboards: Jessy Fanto

Jessy Fanto is an attractive young gurl who plays keyboards in a number of her videos -- or at least I think she does. Check out her youtube channel for an idea of why I'm a little uncertain. She includes music with a lot of her videos, and lip-synchs to them, so I'm not actually 100% sure she's playing. Based on a couple of fairly quiet and intimate videos, however, I think she can play.



She definitely has the look of a Cover Gurl. She has lots of photos on her Facebook page, most are screen captures from videos.

Guitarist: Myra

Young Myra lives in Chicago, attends community college in a distant suburb, and features several videos of herself playing the guitar on her youtube channel. In this one, she's standing as a performer would on stage -- though she's just wearing some lingerie:



In another video, she wears a real rock-and-roll cap.

I don't know if she's on Facebook, Flickr, or somewhere else that might feature photos.

Drummer: Luisa

I think the Cover Gurlz may have found a new drummer: Luisa. She's Italian and has her own channel on youtube.



Don't worry that you cannot see her face or upper body in this video -- as her other videos make clear, she's an attractive potential Cover Gurl. In this video, for example, she's a pretty blonde, wearing a red dress and dancing.

Singer: Toni Gnosis

I don't know much about Toni Gnosis, other than that she's a Texan, has appeared as Hedwig, and is prepping a band called the Black Leather Banshees. While Toni "retired" in 2007, she is apparently posed to make a comeback.

I'd like to find some feminine vocal tracks. Help?
